Repo: msitarzewski/agency-agents | MIT | 160.3K stars | last push 2026-10-15 | named in an AI Edge video.
What it does
Hundreds of Markdown “agent” personas (designer, researcher, community manager and so on) plus a local installer that converts them for many agent tools. In the video it is shown as the roster that routes work to other tools.
Who it is for
People who want ready-made role prompts to start from and do not already have task-specific skills.
Our read
Verdict: SAFE. The scan hits were quoted examples inside security personas, not live code. Our honest take: every persona that matched work we do was weaker than a skill with a real script behind it, and one research persona lists paid data sources we do not have and promises forecast accuracy we could not support. We took one idea only: its research persona’s evidence rules (trace each statistic to its primary source, count independent origins, say what you searched for and did not find).
If you have no skills at all, it is a fair starting library. If you do, it is mostly filler.
How to try it
Pick two or three personas that match tasks you actually do, read them, and ignore the rest.
